Your San Francisco Moving Company — Pricing, Minimums & Travel Time
Simple hourly pricing by crew size with a 2–3 hour minimum. For SF jobs, the clock starts on arrival at your load address and stops when we’re done at unload;
then we add the return drive to our warehouse (billed in 15-minute increments, 30-minute minimum). Written estimates list labor, materials, fuel/permit fees,
and any COI requirements.
High-Rise Moves in San Francisco — Elevators & COIs
We coordinate with management for elevator windows and provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs) at no charge. If your building needs additional insured language
or specific policy limits, we’ll handle it and send the COI directly to your management team.
Parking Permits & Tow-Away Signs in San Francisco
- Lead time: Aim for ~at least 1 week if signs/permits are needed.
- COI: Many buildings require a Certificate of Insurance; we provide it at no charge and coordinate with management.

Recology SF – This is a great resource for getting rid of your unwanted items. Residential customers (buildings with 5 units or less) receive two curbside Bulky Item Recycling collections per year at no additional charge, and each unit in a multi-family building (6 units or more) is eligible to receive one no-charge curbside collection. You may request additional Recology Bulky Item Recycling collections for a nominal fee. Once you’ve scheduled your pickup, please place your items next to the curb in front of your residence (take care not to block the sidewalk), and attach a sign that reads RECOLOGY. Schedule a free pick up.
SFMTA – Whether you are moving in or out of San Francisco there is a good chance you are going to need parking permits for your move. SFMTA is the place to go if you need to order permits, get someone towed or info on street clean, this is a great resource.
